Sunlight and Fasting Part 4

When I began my temple/human body correspondence research, I continued to look at much of the egyptian hieroglyphics with some awe, but mostly confusion.  Once I began to study the fast, certain elements began to unfold that were most interesting, and illuminating.

I am sure you have seen this particular figure.  It is called the Eye of Ra.

This symbol has been popular for millennia, but why?  It's all over the place, but has no real explanation for the masses.  What is the attraction?  I had no idea what this figure meant.  Only last year when I was studying the Holy of Holies in the Temple of Solomon did things begin to unveil themselves.

What you are looking at is the pineal gland deep within the brain.  The bone that covers it, the sphenoid bone, which might be construed as a hiding place, looks very similar to the arc of the covenant in the holy of holies described in 1 Kings.  In both Exodus and 1 Kings, the description is of two winged creatures that were placed above the covenant box:  Each had two wings.  Two of their outstretched wings touched each other in the middle of the room and the other two wings touched the walls.

The wings touched the walls.  This first depiction does not look like it is touching the walls at all.

There are literally thousands of depictions of the arc of the covenant from the Exodus version, so take some time to go on Google Images and look for yourself.  All are made from approximation, as there is nothing physical to take this drawing from with the exception of the description in the Bible.

However, let us look at the exact words in 1 Kings 23:27

And within the oracle he (Solomon) made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high. And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits. And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubim's were of one measure and one size.  The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub. And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

Nowhere could I find an artistic depiction of this arc.  None of the other arcs had wings that reached out to the walls.  However, I did find something that was very amazing, for after I looked at the Eye of Ra in the brain, I went looking around in the skull for something, anything that might connect this depiction of the arc, the pineal gland, and the brain.  Here is what I found.

Even the description in Gray's Anatomy tells that these bones are called wings and there are also the smaller wings which touch the inside of the house.

Well, what does this have to do with our Indian fellow who fasted for 411?  How does this have anything to do with coming closer to Christ?

Continued. . . . .
